Martin J.F. Sheehan is Senior Vice President of Investor Relations at MP Materials (NYSE: MP), where he has significantly expanded institutional engagement and broadened the company’s sell-side coverage since joining in February 2021. An accomplished executive with a track record spanning investor relations, corporate finance, strategic planning, and team development, Martin plays a key role in shaping MP Materials’ strategic narrative for the financial community.

Prior to joining MP Materials, Martin spent more than 25 years at DIRECTV, ultimately leading its investor relations program through transformative transactions, including AT&T’s acquisition. Following the integration, he served five years as a Vice President of Investor Relations at AT&T.

Martin earned an M.S. in National Resource Strategy from the Eisenhower School at the National Defense University, an M.B.A. from the Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon University, and a B.A. in Economics from Rutgers University.
