Ryan S. Corbett is the Chief Financial Officer of MP Materials (NYSE: MP), where he helped transform the company into one of America’s most critical supply chain assets. Since joining in 2019, Ryan has guided MP Materials through its public listing, overseeing complex financial reporting, audit, and risk management processes while leading investor relations, finance, accounting, tax, supply chain, and IT teams.

As CFO, Ryan has forged customer relationships across domestic and international markets, helping MP Materials expand its commercial footprint. In addition, he led the foundational business development efforts that accelerated the company’s move into downstream magnet manufacturing.

Prior to joining MP Materials, Ryan was a Managing Director at JHL Capital Group, where he focused on the firm’s initial investment in MP Materials. Before JHL, he led strategic investments at Brahman Capital Corp. and King Street Capital Management, focusing on special situations across the capital structure. He began his career in investment banking and corporate finance at Morgan Stanley. Ryan graduated magna cum laude from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania with a concentration in Finance.
